Why should one go the 2009 Holiday Gift & Art Fair in Minnetonka, presented by Funtime Funktions? Let me count the ways…
First, it is a great way to support local artists in the area. From poi spinning, to belly dancing accessories, to pottery, and everything in between – you will find it here, created by local artists.
Second, I have gone to several events in the area such as Fire Jams and Earthdance. The performances I have seen have been wonderful! The performers are highly skilled and put on a great performance. They also encourage the audience to participate in ways such as playing drums and clapping and dancing along. What a great way to build community!
Finally, Mr. Fun, the one who is organizing this, has a passion for community. He continues to build it whereever he goes. Say Hi, and you are immediately his friend. He is warm and friendly, and truly cares about the performers and the performances he provides.
So, check out this Holiday Gift & Art Fair. You will find toys there that you might not find anywhere else. You will be supporting local artists. Most of all, you will be building community, which is what this is all about.
